Im gonna bet you my bottom dollar that over $8 million in bets has been lost now that George Mason has won. Who here has a good bracket still?

I had Duke playing UCLA and Uconn playing Villanova..

I heard that over three million people submitted their brackets to ESPN.com and only 4 of them got the final four correct..! That is amazing.. :o :o :o

Im gonna laugh if Bill Gates loses $8 million in bets. Then again, that would be pocket change to him.

I had Duke winning it all. Now I'm out ten bucks. :P

I have no idea about college basketball, so I just filled out the chart by the schools football record. :) Except I know Duke won last year.

Oh well.

[quote]I had Gonzaga vs. Duke and Boston College vs. UConn.

I really didn't think Gonzaga would go that far (they always blow it) but I like them so I did it anyway.

There were a lot of depressed people in this area when Gonzaga lost their last game, ending their season...

Same here, since they are a northwest team everyone likes them around here it seems (especially since Washington is so hated around here).  With Gonzaga and Washington the only northwest teams in the tournament, you have to root for the Zags.

But, they have a tradition of not playing up to their abilities in the tourney.  It could be because they come from a small conference or they just aren't that good under pressure.

I have always liked Gonzaga.  I even considered going to school there before choosing Oregon.  Plus, a good friend of mine went to school there.

Aren't the Portland Trailblazers a college basketball team?

I believe the University of Idaho has a sports team, but I can't remember if it's a basketball team or a football team...

Does the Ganzaga University have a football team also?

Erm... no.

I live about four minutes away from Villanova, and I've been to countless Nova basketball games, so it was sad to see them go.

No dude, the Blazers are an NBA team.  Although, they are so bad they probably should compete at the college level.

Gonzaga doesn't have a football team.  Oregon has a college basketball team though, but we were bad this year.  But, we did almost beat Washington.  That was a sweet game!

How many college basketball teams does Washington have??? I can think of Gonzaga, and is it Washington State University that also has a basketball team?

There are 3 major universities that have basketball teams in Washington that I can think of.  Those are Gonzaga, Washington, and Washington State.  Both Washington and Washington State are in the same conference as my school.
