time for deep thought on this...

Postby legoalex2000 » Fri Mar 17, 2006 12:20 pm

i've been thinking about the universe. i believe that we have infinite universes in this plane of existence. so i began thinking deep... and my end resolution is this:

anything that can be, will be
anything that could've been, has been
any question asked, all answers chosen
anything hat could go wrong, has gone wrong
anything that coud go right, has gone right
and person could live or die at any time period
or any living thing could live or die at any moment.

and my biggest extension of this thought was that every particle in the univers is been in every spot in the universe. this is hard to explain, so i have to give examples...

the particle of dust on your computer can and has been water, air, metal, plastic, etc... in other universes...

the decision one is also my biggest thought. it's endlessly what-if questions.

can anyone elaborate on this?

I'm a big (huge, huge) philosophy guy myself-but I stick to things that are actually relevant to my existence.  I don't like speculating on things that have absolutely zero impact on me (do we live in the Matrix/dreamworld?  Who gives a crap!  Like we'd know the difference?)

Stick with it, sounds interesting ;)

If you think about this long enough you're in danger of driving yourself quite mad. Nobody can prove or disprove whatever theories you come up with so what's the point? I came to this conclusion about 45 years ago. I've been much happier since. 8) ;)

Quantum means add a zero.

Everything is possible, icluding me finishing a G-max aircraft.  It's just very unlikely!

I love the multiverse theory! Think of the possibilities. According to that thoery, as Ramos said, anything that can happen has happened, or will happen in another universe. Therefore in some alternate reality, I actually like rap music, or Hagar became an astronaught, or fish rule the earth. Just think about it. ;)

i mean you could go as far as when the universe was created, it just started now, or will in a few minutes, or happened an hour ago.

even down to small decision like picking my nose (just an example ;)) can make multi-universii.

yep... deep thought on this...

It makes things much easier, that's for sure.

I suppose the most important thing to consider in cases like these is- hey look, a butterfly!
The Devil's Advocate.

Well I more belive that we exist in an infinate plane and each moment is a different dimision, so what happened 100 years ago is happening now, and what happens 10 billions years from now is aslo happening now. Makes you wonder then though if this is the case how long are each diminsion, or is it one dimision and we are simply oberating on a phase shift of some sort. Very confusing, as to the universe its interesting that of everything, the only source of intelligent life so far is man, and I wouldn't be suprised if we are the only intelligent things in this great bg universe. More into the bible's explanation though, and one most take into account the fact taht time is a human preception which then leads to the occuping of sevral diminsions at once.

My head hurts.
