How to deal with Internet "Trolls"....

Postby Fozzer » Wed Mar 01, 2006 9:47 am

They pop up now and again on various Forums, including ours.....
So a read of this is sometimes helpful to remind ourselves that they are around, how to identify them, what they are, and what to do about them...>>>

Aye, every now and again they pop in here to annoy people. Dave spotted the trollism I'd missed. So nice one Dave ;)
I don't know what these people get out of it but they must have very sad lonely existances to feel the need to talk to themselves on the internet.... it is a bit like phoning yourself!

I often suspect that our Admin chaps have access to Members details, e-mail addresses, etc, that we don't have, and that if they are on the ball they are thankfully able to detect dubious characters on the Site that we are not aware of, and warn us about them... ;)...!

Cheers all...!

I HATE getting taken in by Internet Trolls... >:(...!
