Pure superstition. It's wintertime & actors of this generation are getting on in years. I expect there will be more but people will stop looking now.

...what a shame... :'(...!

I will forever remember Dennis Weaver for his part in the film "Duel" in 1971, (one of Stephen Spielbergs first films)... ;)...!
...and one of my all-time favourite films, of which I have a copy..... ;D...!

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0067023/

Cheers all...!

Paul...looking in my rear view mirror for a very big truck...:o...!
LOL... ;D...!

P.S. I hate it when familliar actors and actresses that I remember from my youth die...
It constantly reminds me that I am "getting on a bit".... :o...!

...it's a funny old do, Doug...
..but he rarely gets associated with that film (Duel)... ;)...!

He died at the age of 81 of the dreaded Cancer, I think... :'(...!

I'm only 10 years younger than him... ::)...!!!

Paul...beware of very big trucks... :o...!

Don't worry. I reckon you'll see me out. Probably still be charging around on your bike at 100 - years old, not miles per hour. As long as you steer clear of big trucks of course. :o ;D

Yes, the loss of Dennis Weaver is a sad thing......and yes, it reminds me of my age too.

 Now for my "Duel" moment......

One lazy Saturday afternoon my wife and I were just laying around the house watching T.V. and "Duel" happen to be on.  As soon as the move was over the first commercial that came on was for Serria Truck Driving School", with the booming words "YOU TOO CAN BE A TRUCK DRIVER....."
