nomenclatures

Postby town » Wed Feb 15, 2006 7:22 am

Hi All

I've been browsing these forums for sometime now (and adding in my own comments occasionally) and I am amazed by the varied identity tags the all the users have. Some I think I can work out i.e Fozzer might be a shortened surname and Rimshot might be a drummer. My own tag Town of Hgate is just where I live, Hgate being short for Harrogate. So my question is: where did you get your tag name from?

AS you may imagine this has been asked several times.
But it belongs in the Cafe. ;) No worries - a mod will move it.

Saitek. Well - big giveaway - I own a Saitek stick. :P I thought when I joined it would be something I could remember easy. ;D I like it too. I like the spelling and the unusual "tek" ending.

BBStackerF

I was a Naval Aviation Ordnance man in the Navy. So I dealt with weapons (BBs) on aircraft. My job during one of my duty assignments was as Magazine Series Supervisor on board the USS Nimitz where we had weapons 'stacked'. Hence BB Stacker. "f" is for my last name.

This is Tacit Blue. It was an experimantal aircraft built by Northrop to demonstrate stealth technology. Now it's in the Wright Patterson AFB museum in Dayton Ohio. I use the name because I like the way the plane looks and the name has a mysteriouse sound to it, IMO.
