Verizon Wireless

They never stop working for you.

However, my cell phone is starting to screw up with its display. I'm guessing that it's getting old since I have been using it for about 2 years already. Everything else works perfectly, it's just the display gets flipped and distorted all the time. I guess it's time to get new one. :-[

You don't say whether or not you can actually carry on a conversation with anyone. LMAO!!

I find it funny that the selling point of phones now are anything but thier ability to make a actuall phone call.

Yeah I have to keep my $40/month contract phone turned off until I'm within a mile of town because it doesn't get a strong enough siginal. It keeps running in "Analog" mode when it's on the fringe of the signal. This eats up a battery in about five minutes.

Just recently I picked up a $20 prepaid Nokia 1100. No intnernet, no voice activated dialing, no photos, b/w display. Battery on standby at the house lasts 16 days. 4 days when I left the light on. Yes, it has a light. That's one feature it has that my contract phone doesn't and the one I use more often than any of the others on the more expensive phone. The signal meter is always at the top with crystal clear reception. So much for the $400 telephone. I'll stick with the $20 one from now on.
