Prefer cats myself-I like peace, quiet, no smells and low maintenance (you have to walk dogs n stuff, play with them, etc.)

Saying a cat isn't loyal, etc. are things made up by dog owners who genuinely have no idea what they're talking about. Then people simply buy into it because "dogs are cooler" and next thing you know we're having an anti-cat hate rally for no apparent reason.

I like both cats and dogs, I just prefer to live with the quieter cats.

You've obviously never had the pleasure of sitting with your girlfriend, watching tv, while the cat jumps in the couch, nestles himself compfy in between the 2 of you and spin like there won't be a tommorow.  ;D

But hey, I like dogs too! My girlfriends Labrador ( rip) released my of my fear of dogs!
