That wasn't a cork gun. That was a proper shotgun. I had a cork gun once. Great fun. Almost as good as those that fired a flag that said "BANG!"

There's a thought for the real thing: when it's out of ammo it automatically pops out a white flag.

Reminds me of the scene in The Right Stuff. One of the unmanned rocket tests all set to launch. Count down 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, Ignition....... Emergency parachute on the capsule goes "pop" from the top. Rocket just sits there.  ;D
