lol. Remember in some old cartoons, guns had a little cork at the end attached with a string? I don't know why, but that comes to mind ;D

To be honest, It's been so long I don't remember what cartoon. I only remember a 'pop' gun with a cork at the end ;)

That wasn't a cork gun. That was a proper shotgun. I had a cork gun once. Great fun. Almost as good as those that fired a flag that said "BANG!"

Reminds me of the scene in The Right Stuff. One of the unmanned rocket tests all set to launch. Count down 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, Ignition....... Emergency parachute on the capsule goes "pop" from the top. Rocket just sits there.  ;D
