Said 114 passengers were on the aircraft at the time, must had been pretty visible too.

Horrible.

Really? If I ever witnessed something like that, I would probably be a little extra cautious when being around running engines, but I'm sure I wouldn't have a problem with flying again.

There was a similar case years ago onboard a Navy carrier when a crewman on the deck ran past what looked like the "Intruder" [name of the aircraft] and was sucked in through one of the intakes.
Fortunately for him, his gear got caught somewhere inside and has kept his head a mere few inches from the compressor blades. He was a lucky guy.
However, I feel sorry for the recent case that just happened.

There's always that apparent danger while working as a Ramp Rat. That's what they sign up for.

There's alot of similar cases, it happened on the aircraft carrier my dad was on during Vietnam. He said there wasn't much left to send home.

Pretty bad situation.

Nasty. I once saw a car get too close to the back of one and my it was blown away quite literally like a leaf. I wouldn't want to be the opposite side pulling in. :-/
Poor guy.
