Seeing as the UK is going entirely digital in the forseeable future, I can see things like this becoming very common indeed.

Personally I'm happy to be able to pick up Croatian TV here as it means I can sometimes get to watch classic English comedies in English (the Hungarian TV always does ye olde crap voiceover!).... but as you officially don't own a telly Paul I don't think this will affect you all that much. Unless you want the SAS to abseil through your ceiling and pinch all your grub
Of course if you want a gas just pick up a SARBE and leave it on emergency transmit and listen to the airwaves light up and go mental... no mention of any officers who I have had the misfortune of working with who once did this and left it in his locker

I buy the Radio Times every week to view the radio programs...
...occasionally I browse through the Television program section....
I can't believe people pay good money in Television Licence fees to watch the dross on the British Terrestrial stations...most of it is mind-numbing in the extreme..!!!

Paul - you make me smile. - but I know that the TV that was turned into a goldfish bowl/flowerpot, urinal etc etc, has since been reinstalled in the living room.
You couldn't do without the ol' box really.

Belgium's idea of digital TV...
First step... remove several stations to make room on the cable ( CNN, BBC world, Arte, ...)
Step two... offer a "digibox" at 200,00 euro's... this give you... the old stations back... everything else has to be paid extra for...
Step three... hey... nobody wants it!
Step four... reduce the price of the box... now 150,00 euro's
Step five... still no-one buys it!
...
It'll all go digital over time, I'm not against that, but scams like these really bug me... I'll just wait a bit longer, thank you very much...
Oh yeah, and judging the brilliant minds behind these providers, they'll offer like 1 really good channel for an outrageous price, combined with 354 other crappy ones...
PS: what the heck is wrong with the euro-sign... yabb still doesn't like it! Must be a British thing... ;D
