In 'N Out?

Postby Foxtrot Sport » Thu Dec 22, 2005 11:23 am

Does anyone happen to know the streetname or intersection of that "famous" In 'N Out that is just outside of LAX?  You always see those gorgeous shots of 747s on finals, with the large In 'N Out logo.  I'm heading down there next week, and would like to check it out.

It's north of LAX, and I think near a park.  I'll check my Google Earth in a little bit to see.

Jake is pretty much correct. It is the westchester parkway and airways blvd intersection.

Well, I'm on Google Earth.  At Westchester Pkwy there isn't a street called "Airways" however, there is Aviation and Airport.  There are a few far-fetched possibilities on Westchester, however If I move to Jake's proposal, I believe I might have it.  On West Century and Bellanca, it appears to be a fast food joint, with the classic In 'n Out palm trees residing nearby.  Any thoughts?

Found it!  Of course, I just got back, and while looking from our hotel room, we spotted the thing, too bad our timing was off so we couldn't eat there.  However, there's a large parking structure next to it, and it's so close that there's signs saying "For security reasons, no photography".  Of course, we got to the top and took pictures.

If anybody's interested, find the northernmost runway, and just a hundred yards east or so is a mildly small park.  North of the park is the In 'n Out.  Easy to spot due to the bright red signs.

I believe the intersection is W 92nd and S Sepulveda.
