http://www.cnn.com/2005/US/12/30/stalk. ... index.htmlIt's about time someone tries to rein down on these photo-hungry, life-threatening, don't-give-a-damn-if-there's-gonna-be-a-car-accident bastards.

I don't really pay attention to what goes on with celebrities and the paparazzi, but I do hear about the occasional story where paparazzi put the lives of bystanders and the celebrities at risk.
If an aggressive photographer endangers people and property just so he can get a photo, he needs to be held responsible for his actions.
The article mentions an incident where paparazzi almost ran a celebrity off the road. This is crossing the line, and in these situations, the paparazzi should be hunted down and prosecuted to the full extent of the law before someone else gets hurt or even killed.

What really freaks me out about the paparazzi is that they always manage to get camera lenses that can see as far as the Hubble Space Telescope. Have you seen the size those lenses those lunatics use?

But thats the problem. Once your in you really cant escape. Even when you've been out of the limelight for a few years these guys will still follow you. Plus as was mentioned, they have tried to run people off the road. Most recently, Lindsey Lohan, While I dont care about her personally, what gives anyone the right to cause a car crash just to get a photo? Car crashes are frightening experiences no matter how experienced you are let alone being an 18 year old, being chased down.

Given what the paparazzi lifestyle entails, I seriously doubt that they are "feeding their families".
I didn't realize that a new tactic was car chases and trying to run a car off the road or crashing cars...that is just sick.
And though some protest that existing laws already cover these aveneues, it sounds like they aren't working.
Granted, a loss of privacy comes with the territory of being a celeb, but what modern paparazzi do is crossing the line...

Most of the paparazzi are single. So, I doubt any of them are doing it to bring food to the table. All they want is to bring money to the bank so that they can use it to buy a brand new Porsche or wear a $500 jacket at the expense of one's safety and life.
If I'm a celebrity, and if they really follow celebs beyond the California border, then I would live in Florida where the gun laws have recently changed. That way, not only do they have to worry about serving hard time in jail, but also worry about loosing a kneecap if you know what I mean. I'm pretty sure their bank accounts can cover the medical expenses.
