Start of the New Year Celebration.

I was wondering, I like to know what time [in Eastern Standard Time] does the global celebration begin? By that, I mean what time does the fireworks go off in places like New Zealand, Australia, Japan, Britain, etc.

NZ - 8-9 am
Australia - 11 am, 12 pm, 1 pm
Japan - 12 pm
Britain - 7pm

first is tonga (now without daylight saving) and new zealand (with daylight saving) at 12 pm 12/31 UT (7 am EST)
after which 30 other timezones will go through, some of them on the UT half hour

australia has three timezones, but a hodgepot of states whith daylight saving and without.
first will be NSW and VIC at 1 pm UT, folowed by SA at 1:30 PM UT

last one is samoa 12 pm 01/01 UT

oops, i just checked, the christmas islands were even an hour earlier than tonga
