But you have a number (license) plate; registering an unregisterable vehicle. Do you mount the plates on your belt buckle, front and rear? ??? 8)

lol, surprising thing to do though. There are all sorts of ways of disposing of that kind of cash. Quite unusual. Anyway, what if the car belonged to a woman? :-X

i'd laugh if the person who bought a new car, and he left his car unlocked, and she put that ring in his car.... the plate is made by a license plate generator..

I'm surprised the cops let him keep the ring... I'd imagine that if the "gifter" was looking for a car to steal, the ring is most likely stolen. How nice is it to rip somebody else off then dump the goods on someone else?

With a ring worth $15,000, wouldn't it be possible to track the original buyer and see if it was stolen?

And a more important question: Isn't there something better, and more useful to spend $15,000 on!? :o

Well you would have thought a person spending that much on a ring would at least be certain they would get a yes first.

Good point Craig. But it appears the yes might already have been given, but the love was extinguished as hot and as quickly as it was kindled. :(

I dread the idea of being trashed in a relationship, (it would really go to my head - seroiusly) partly why I haven't yet had one.

You gotta expect it Ben. We all get shot down in relationships. The chances of the first person you end up with being the person you spend your life with are slim to none. ;)
