I don't how well they pay their employees but that might take some considerable time.

I've always tried to stress the importance of accurate spelling. This applies equally to numbers.

See, you should always check over what you've typed, making sure you've not spelt and/or typed anything worng.

The problem is that the broker SOLD stock he didn't have ...  so now the brokerage company is the one that has to put up its own money to refund the error.

In this case, one broker's mistake is costing the company billions, not to mention he's not made himself popular with his fellow employees who have to forego their year-end company party and bonuses.
