I meant to post about this a while back but if any of you get the chance pick up "Under The Wire" by William Ash. It is the amazing autobiography of Bill Ash who as an American teenager joined the RCAF to fight in WWII, was shot down and spent most of his war involved in the most incredible escapes from POW camps. It is beautifully done and full of dark humour.
All-in-all a remarkable gentleman with an amazing story to tell!
