Are you talking about real world weather on the flight simulator?

IT WON'T BE EXACTLY THE SAME WEATHER, BUT IT WILL BE SIMILAR CONDITIONS BASED OF WHAT FS CAN DO........

.........DID YOU HEAR ME!?

;), Oh, and welcome to the boards.....

shh.... you don't have to yell ;)

Whenever I download real world weather on the flightsim, I almost always check the latest METAR reports. Sometimes the FS can be close. Other times, not even close to being close.

I have no idea why this is

Btw, why is this in the general board???

Don't worry about it - nobody gets accurate weather.

People tried it in the US at the time of the hurricane and it wasn't nearly as anything like the real thing.  ::)

I find that odd also during Katrina I loaded real world weather and my Cessna would blow right off the runway at the same time a friend downloaded same time, airport etc and he had just rain, so somewhere we download two very different real world weathers ??

That is what I mean, both my buddy and I downloaded at the same time but two different weather scenerios.
Makes me wonder if there is a setting within FS9 somewhere that some have checked and others don't?

Hmmm.. as far as I understood one just went and selected Real World Weather. It then pauses the sim and loads up from Jeppersen the weather.
