Mark ???

Well, I've installed a complete central heating system but that was in about 1969 or thereabouts. It's not that difficult but I'm not sure I could do it now even if I wished to go to all that bother. One slight snag is that it would be illegal for me to do it here now anyway. I'm not officially allowed to wire up an extra light socket. ::)

PS. Connecting radiators should be a doddle for someone like you Mark. If you can't do that little job blindfolded I don't hold out much hope for Binky. :P ;)

I'm sure I can do it Doug it is just that I've never done it before (lots of car plumbing however) and I was looking for handy hints/tips ;)

I think the trickiest part is getting the size of the radiators right for a balanced system. This will depend on the capacity & output of the boiler. There should be a chart or calculator gizmo available to make that easy. Next time I'm over that way I'll pop into Mr Wickes' & see if they have a handy leaflet. Remind me as I'm likely to forget. Of course, I don't know what's available in deepest darkest Hungary.

Fozzers Central Heating System...

1/2 cup of porridge oats.
1-1/2 cups mix of water and milk.
A pinch of salt to taste.

Slowly simmer for 5 minutes, stirring continually.

Empty into a pre-warmed bowl.

Stir in milk and sugar to taste.

Enjoy...and remember it's good for you, in-expensive, and much cheaper than calling in the Central Heating Fly-Boys with expensive boilers, radiators and pipe-work....
...and endless cups of tea...
...trust me..;)...!
LOL...!

Paul...always up for a sensible, practical reply...;).... ;D...!
LOL...!

Here's a good tip:
Get a plumber to do it.
;D

Just kidding, although I'd definitely recommend leaving any gas connections to a pro.
I've done all kinds of stuff, from wiring subpanels to PVC to sweating copper pipe for hot/cold water, but I don't mess with 'black pipe". Period.
I don't even like to mess with stove hookups...

Believe me the reason I'm planning to do it myself is because I've met the local plumbers ::) Would you trust anyone who is about twenty leagues out of their skull by seven in the morning? Methinks this is why accidents happen ;)

Sounds like the chap who connected Fozzer's famous exploding gas oven. I think it's still somewhere in orbit. :o :D
