Never fear....
No mention of religion in it, so you are safe...(for a while)... ;)...!

I love to see arrogant politicians get their comeuppance, and this is a typical example of a man in power who wears his brain in the front of his trousers, desperately trying to hold on.... >:(....!
....but today....he's finally lost it.... ;)...!

...shades of Peter Mandelson... :o...!

Paul.

You so much make me laugh Paul. I can't say agree with everything David has done, but I always felt sorry for him because he is blind. I hate the way the papers draw him in cartoons as a sprawling blind monster and although I love political cartoons somehow I always felt it was offensive.

At work this blind chap comes in with his dog and she is the picture of perfection in dogs - lying silently waiting for the next command. What torture it must be for a Retriever to sit under a table in a restraunt, surrounded by tables of food and a kitchen and serving area meters away I can't imagine.

I believe Blunkett has his dog with him in the House of Commons too.  Oh wait, I've turned this into doggy talk. ;D

I actually never understood Blunkett as arrogant, but maybe I'm just being too compassionate.

That all said - this is political grounds and I have a rather bad reputation here for writing rot. ;)

I think this is becoming the next craze in reality TV here in the states. Some have even mentioned reinstating the practice of burning at the stake..... ;D

The only reason the burning at the stake was challenged was due to environmentalist that were po'ed about the burning of so much of our valuable woodland resources. Adding more smoke and soot to the atmosphere was also brought up in the debate.... ;D

During Mr Blunkett's time as leader of Sheffield City Council, it was known - affectionately or derisively - as the "Socialist Republic of South Yorkshire".
I remember those times, I find it sickening that now he's in power, he finds no problem with making some serious money from a small (for a GovT Ministers Salary) outlay.

I doubt any of his fellow Socialists have been as fortunate since "New Labour" came to power.

Good riddance to one of them, the sooner the rest go, the better.

Trouble is, there all as bad as each other in my view.

I'm surprised that he never saw this coming.  You expect a senior polititian to have some insight into the danger of trying to make private money whilst in public office.

I guess he will reflect on what he has done and state that in hindsight he shouln't have done it.
