EDIT: In the news on tv, they say that he will certainly be tried as an adult.

He even looks like an upbeat kinda guy.

Why does it suck? It says he killed somebody.

It sucks to be him because he's obviously not a happy camper, and hasn't been for some time.
But luckily for him, in that state he's old enough to savagely beat a woman to death for no good reason but too young to be executed for it...  ::) He'll almost certainly be eligible for parole eventually.
Getting through to a kid like him is challenging, but I wonder if his family or anyone at school even tried...

I heard hes gonna be tried as an adult, and its very likely he'll get life in prison without parole. But thats CNN, so ya never know.

Sad for the young lady, but in my opinion, sad for the guy too.. He obviously isnt a happy boy..

What makes me curious was HOW THE HECK did this kid turn from clean-hair-cut-button-up-shirt-honest-looking-hard-working all the way to satan-worshiping-pentegram-drawing-credit-card-stealing?

How that happened is beyond me. :-/

No, that's why we're the good guys.  Remember, we have to be better than those we punish (nobody said being good was easy).

If he makes it to middle age, I doubt a day will go by that he doesn't think about regret.

He'll be there until someone decides to make an ill-timed (for him at least) lane change or two semi-trucks drive by him side by side.  In the end, I believe he will meet the same fate in either situation.

Good point. Everyone wants brainless punishment. But no one except you and me asks for the "why"?
