About the topic though, I'd be careful about politics.  There are a few topics that are not generally discussed around here  and politics is one of them.  

Just a word of warning.

I'm sure there's more than enough things about this issue on the web Bren, I'd just be careful not to get it from an organization that's extreme one way or the other, you want an unbiased source.

Well, I could be wrong & if so I apologise in advance but don't you think it a tad suspicious that a new member would choose a political subject for his/her first post on this forum?

I have every confidence that we can deal with this sensibly.

I'm sure there's more than enough things about this issue on the web Bren, I'd just be careful not to get it from an organization that's extreme one way or the other, you want an unbiased source.

I suppose.... actually yea I guess that is abnormal.

To be frank, I sure as hell don't.  I literally cant remember the last time we were able to discuss a hot button topic without it getting out of hand.  This is an extremely hot button topic, because it's not just politics it's religion too.
