Are you speaking of kidney inflammation (nephritis); the ureter is the duct that empties from a kidney to the urinal bladder.
The truth is that few people drink enough water. However, just as bad is when one drinks too much (of anything) at one time: the intestines get stretched which can cause a thing called diverticulitis (a sack, called a diverticulus, forms) and rotting food and liquid can get trapped in it or it can even rupture; know where the nearest emergency room is.
Any one up for a meal now? :-X  :P

Water is useful stuff.    It should be used for washing things and irrigation and generating hydro electric power.

People shouldn't have to drink the stuff, many other drinks have been invented and I personally take beer to avoid becoming hydrated.

If it is necessary to take water in an emergency, it is preferable to use an additive, like 3 to 1 of a good Scotch Malt....

I have been using this method for many years and have never suffered the horrendous medical problems as outlined by Sam, which obviously proves my theory....

;D ;D ;D

A couple problems here.
First, your a fellow member with us loonies. :P
Second, since the major component of beer is water of which you want no intake, you must be first reducing it to powder. Do you more often spoon it in or sniff it in? ???
Excessive sniffing may lead to hyperventilation; that would, of course, account for a reduction of blood to the brain. Maybe people don't get drunk -- they're just in a strange state of hyperventilation :P.
