Thanks but no thanks Mark. I used to love cider but mainly drank it in the summer. That was until I got so ill on the stuff that I couldn't go to work the next morning. It was all I could do to drag myself out of bed & ring them to explain why. :-[ Oh my poor bad head. :'(

I missed an important meeting with company reps who'd come down specially from Redditch. When I finally turned up at about lunchtime still looking sorry for myself they all roared their heads off. It was their fault fot taking me out & getting me in this state the previous evening. I never lived that down & haven't tasted a drop of the stuff since. That must have been in the 1980s. It taught me a valuable lesson & I don't remember having a hangover since then either. I never did see the pleasure in that. :P :D

Nothing wrong with a nice glass of wine. 8) But getting drunk and gorging ones guts on the strong - nope. ;)

LOL It was my 21st - & my stag night - & numerous other occasions until the incident described above. Took me quite a while to learn that lesson. ::) ;D

I drank two bottles of wine and several pints and my school leavers ball aswell. Though I kept it all down and walked home with my memory.

That was the night after my 18th.  ;D ;D ;D
