I think it's safe to say that now. Hooray.......! Well done chaps. :D

I'm sorry to say that I haven't seen a single ball bowled in the whole series. I've never been superstitious but if I'd been watching it's more than likely we would have lost. ::)

the first time in 16 years the English have been presented with that little trophy, isn't that worth watching? ;) ;D
Its a rare thing for us to win anything internationally, fan of sport or not its a sight to see.

The fact that the lads won is good enough for me. Wish I'd watched the whole series but it's too late now. I always used to follow the cricket. That was before the TV in my study blew up. :o Don't watch much TV at all now. ;)

PS. Didn't I read somewhere that the Ashes are going to Oz for a while anyway? They usually stay locked in the trophy cabinet at Lords.

::) There. See what I mean? I turn on the TV set to watch the last few overs & what happens? They come off for bad light that's what. >:( ::)

It's all your fault Craig. Nothing to do with me. :P ;D

Hi Doug, its basically to stop the players getting hurt, we all know they could have gone on, but the stupid rules cant allow a match to be called off in this situation. They will get their trophey soon, patience:)

If I was shown the cup, I would probably take the lid off to see what was inside....
...and a gust of wind would blow all the ashes away... ::)... ;)... ;D...!

Paul...Who's cremated remains are they, anyway...?

Nah, I switched off before then. Can't be doing with all that nonsense.  Maybe they'll release the whole thing on DVD. I can watch it on those dark winter afternoons to cheer myself up. :D

I s'pose that's it then. Winter drawers on. :'( Roll on the cricket season. ;)
