"The Flight That Fought Back."

I'd assume you know about the show thats basically a TV movie about what happened on Flight 93 on 9/11 thats on the Discovery channel.

For those that don't know, Flight 93 was the flight where the passengers fought back and drove the plane into a Pennsylvania field.

But what I'm wondering is, did they make all of the stuff that happened on the plane?

I mean, there were those phone calls people had where they said they'd fight back, but I doubt they said how.  For Instance:  In the commercial it shows them ramming the cockpit door or something with a flight attendant trolley, i'm assuming they made that up because the phone calls were probably made beforehand.

They were probably trying to figure out one of the possible ways on how the passengers might have broke into the cockpit and how they might have organized.

They do know some facts, and I believe ramming the cart into the cockpit door was one of them.  Remember, people on the plane were in contact with people on the ground the whole time, so they have pretty accurate knowledge of the thing...

not having seen this one, but others, as far as i know it was still the general concensus that it was the terrorists who crashed the plane as they were close to being over-run byy the passengers.

they wernt always at high altitude. And on occasion you can get a signal, but it is rare.

Actually, I read that the whole reason you aren't allowed to use cell phone isn't because it won't work or it will screw up the plane, but that because you're going so fast you'll have to constantly switch towers which will drop a lot of people on the ground's calls.

There are a bunch of reasons, no-one is 100% sure of all the problems, and it would cost each company so much money to find out, that they dont bother in most cases. Its already been said certain authorities are looking at relaxing the in-flight rules, but most airlines and others are saying it wont be allowed with them.
