I actually kinda understand the Aberdeen shire. I can barely understand most of 'em. Welsh is completely beyond me.

I wonder if it's hard for Britons to understand Americans?

...it's just that every time I hear a "Southern", (Texas), accent, I get the overwhelming desire to cringe, curl up into in a ball and stick my fingers in my ears until the pain is finally over...

...especially when it's a "Female" speaking/whining/etc...
...(Think Dolly Parton, Jodie Foster (Silence of the Lambs), etc....)....
...not forgetting the "Marines"...
