Ramos in college, but still in High School...?

Postby legoalex2000 » Thu Aug 25, 2005 7:27 pm

man i love this idea! im taking a spanish college class, while in still in igh school. i think this is the best thing i've done since joining band!.

here's the layout:for a nominal fee (you can call $412 nominal in college payment terms) and authorization from my counselor and the admissions head of Harper college, i'm able to take a full college course and recieve high school credit and college credit. Not only that, in one college semester, i get 1 high school year of class. the drive is easy, the class is fun. i love this!!!!

i recommend to you people that if you are still in high school, find out about this, cause you also get college class experience, ahead of the rest, and wwhen you apply for full-time college, you already have credits (and possibly requirements) on your record. nothing bad about this at all!

just thought i'd share this.

:)Ramos...who has a hispanic heritage but doesnt speak a word of spanish ;)...

Thats cool.

When I was in high school, the closest thing I was able to do was take AP classes.  I passed 2 AP Tests and got 20 college credits (12 History and 8 Biology) for about $140.  That was pretty cool-I started college half way through my freshman year!

They have that type of thing around here, but its for English.  I didn't take it because I have enough classes as it is.

That's cool. I think any kid who has a solid plan for their higher education should be allowed to start early. Good for you!
And those college girls... oh my... ;D

Yeah...looking forward to senior year...

...I get to take a Calculus class at any college of my choosing (well, acutally, I get to choose between Wayne State and UofM Dearborne...) and its all on my high school 8)

Hehe...I think I'm gonna stick around after class for some 'tutoring' from some of my attractive female classmates ;D

I was thinking of taking college classes for either this next year (my junior year) or senior year, but I changed my mind. I'll just stay at the high school and do AP classes, which I'm already enrolled in. Right now I'm doing AP History and we got summer prep-work. 3 essays, read a few chapters in the textbook, and know all the states and capitals. It's actually not all that hard--I think you get 6 college credits or something if you pass the AP exam.

Sounds like a good idea to me.

And some people, mostly including my sister, are too stupid to be human ::)

Oh I don't know about that Andrew. Maybe you're the odd one out. Stupidity in the human race seems to be getting more popular every day. It will soon be compulsory. ::) :D

Wouldn't surprise me if you can take a degree in it. They seem to have degrees for most things these days. ::) ;)
