Greatest Flightsim experience....

Postby Souichiro » Mon Aug 22, 2005 12:21 pm

During your hours and hours of flying in FS, What was your Greatest moments? You know a moment which put a smile on your face or whatever..

For me it would be..

Flying an F/A-18E through the Nepalese mountains in A major Thunderstorm. The sensation of speed was Exceptional being trapped between the deck and the clouds both speeding under/over you....The rain smashing against the Cockpit...

What's yours?

Using Flight 1's hardware at AirVenture, and proving to the ***hole running the booth that 5 hour student can indeed land a C172 at KORD.  :P

LOL!! That's sad...

My best flying experience...when I was flying a long flight and the weather was just too realistic...I broke through the clouds and saw the runway right ahead...was an overwhelming experience

Probably the first time I fired up FS9 on the machine I built myself... flew some circuits at N07 in a C172. Hadn't flown FS since FS5 or thereabouts... even without upgraded equipment, tweaks, etc. it was  pretty amazing.
But taking the Super VC10 across Australia and making a beautiful autoland-assisted arrival was pretty cool, too!

The very, very first time of using CFS1 (my 1st and still favorite version): after trying everything else unsuccessfully (for one thing, I didn't realize that parking brakes were actually included in the sim -- like, who reads instructions ::)), I finally started up the Camel and off we went -- "Hey, I'm flying! ... now, if I can just get my chair siitting back upright on the floor..."
