They are simply idiots!

They think "the governement" has secretly equiped the airliners with spray installations...

Let's for a moment suppose "they" are spraying something... the stuff disolves in the air... concentrations rise... air dissolves in water ( what do ya know!) ... concentrations rise in the surface-waters... dozens and dozens of tests are done on this water every year... still nothing there..

Sure... the military has probably done some research in this field, but small-scale... but the global secret spraying would bring quite some logistical nightmares with it, I guess... the powder... can't think of the quantities and the production-units needed... for one thing...

I'm not saying I believe these "chemtrail" stories but it's just as well to be suspicious. As I said before, I never trusted these government boffins as we call them here. They usually only admit the truth after many years of accusations. MRE Porton Down is notorious for being involved in all sorts of chemical & biological warfare experiments over the years that we will most probably never find out about.

Governments can come up with ridiculous reasons to stamp something "Top Secret" even when they're using the other's technology (kind of like Balboa, standing by his native guides, saying, "I've discovered the Pacific Ocean").
Of course, anything not known by the observer is unidentified at the time of observation. I frequently saw UFOs moving too fast to make a proper indentification; if it left behind a "fall out" trail of airborne debris, it was probably a recently used dinner plate :P :-X.
