Its still unlikely, but now there are some who believe what i said at the very start, that this missing girl could be somewhere in South America. If this is the case i hope this $1 million convinces someone to give her up if she is alive. Then a group of Navy SEALS go in for her and take out those who are responsible.
That or she is still shark food.
Either way hopefully this sounds like it could be coming to the end soon.

Well for awhile, this was all the news the major American networks had, so it was twenty-four hour Natalee Holloway coverage.  Then all of a sudden there was Live Eight, G8, and the London Bombings, so they changed focus.

You could tell how desperate Natalee's mother had gotten near the end of the coverage.  I doubt they'll find her, but hey, nothings impossible and never lose hope.

Well, if there's one thing that SEALs can do well (and there's many ;)), it's extracting American citizens from South American countries.

Bring 'em on!

Well if it wernt for the Extra distance you could have the SAS, but i dont think they would appreciate the travel involved:)

Interesting development.

Maybe he had a night shift of something? But I agree that that story is somewhat fishy.

Why did he wait so long to speak up? I mean I assume it's not every night at 2am people dump bodies into a landfill, you would think this would be something you would maybe want to report to the cops.

It's also my understanding that the body was in a black bag: a black bag in the night? And how was this fellow observing this without being observed by some undoubtedly warily nervous perpetrators?
Nevertheless, check out everything.

Perhaps this new witness was up to no good himself. It never fails to surprise me that witnesses come forward after a reconstruction on the TV, sometimes as much as a year after the event. If their evidence is true I don't know how they could have been blissfully unaware of these terrible crimes until so long after the event. Nor do I know how they can be treated as reliable witnesses. Memory usually fades with time & the train of events & dates can easily get confused.

I know very little about this case but suspect the family is clutching at straws - as any normal loving family would. They will never rest or admit she is dead until that body is found. They might have a long wait. A murderer witholding this information is almost as bad as the crime itself. IMHO
