hi there

i was wondering if there was a way to have a desktop shortcut open 2 programs at once....

it's probably not possible using the shortcut properties thing, but i thought maybe i could wite a .bat file to do it... the thing is... i don't know how ::)

is this possible?

hmm, can you use a simple program like FS autostart and tell it not to start the sim?

I did a quick google search out there and wasn't able to come up with anything offhand, but I'll think about it some more and see if I can remember how to program something like that.. ;)

it's not for FS, actually... it's fot GTA

i got this camera mod which is a little program that runs in the background...

so i wanted to have just one icon i could click and it would open both this tool and GTA at the same time....

i know you can have .bat files to open other programs and do DOS stuff, so i thought why not a small .bat file which opens the 2 programs at once?

it shouldn't be too hard... i think it would only take 2 command lines, one to open each program, and then a 3rd one that quits the .bat file

the thing is, i don't know the command sintaxes and stuff

if anyone knows how... please help me :)

thanks in advance...

From my mistake trying to find FSAutostart... I discovered to my embarrassment that there is also an FSAutostartUp.  That is what it is designed for.
