honestly i think of it more of a waste of time. ban this, censor that, dont show this to people. we are closing oursleves in, plus we make kids "too safe".

While I am not at all in favor of profanity, cursing, obscenity on the public airwaves, I also have  a question as to WHY these people that are protesting the concert were even watching the event?  If the argument is that their kids watched and brought it to their attention, I find it naive that they, as parents, would not have realized that the music (and performers) in concerts of this nature tend to the outrageous (in some points of view).

Ultimately, I have no problem with censorship - as long as *I* control the censorship on *my* tv set.

I don't mind swearing in music as long as it is used "sensibly", not the way they do it in most rap/hip-hop crap.
