if they wernt taken out in the second round. It was never going to be new york. Not only has the US had a couple of games in recent history, but all this rubbish over the new stadium cost them big. It was only ever going to be London or Paris.

Rockin'.  ;D

I have a friend who's going to be sailing in the 2008 olympics and if he does well he'll undoubtably be in the 2012 games too.

I knew it!  London is such a cool city, and its soooo easy to get around.  Paris just wasn't modern enough.

Well done London! :D

At last the UK will have a proper national stadium, not just Wembley (home of football, one rugby league match per year and not much else)!

I was thinking, if I join the Red Arrows in 2010, 2011 or 2012, I may take part in the opening ceremony!

You can guarantee the reds will be there, did you see the footage of them today? Quite amusing with their 3 red, 3 white, 3 blue smoke trails.. looked suspiciously like the tricolore... not rubbing it in are we lads...?

I was thinking that too, don't the red usually do Blue,Red,White,Red, Blue  ???

Anyway I might just have to take a trip down  8)
