I want to create a couple of "Head-to-Head" poll's and I thought I might begin with this one............ :D

Some statistics that might help you
Sukhoi Su-27/33/37
Performance
Maximum level speed 'clean' at 36,090 ft (11000 m) 1417 mph(2280 km/h); maximum rate of climb at sea level 64,960 ft (17700 m); range at high altitude 2,287 miles (3680 km)

Boeing F-15E Stike Eagle
Performance
Maximum speed more than 1,650 mph (2665 km/h) or Mach 2.5 at high altitude; initial climb rate over 50,000 ft (15240 m) per minute; radius 790 miles (1271 km) on a typical mission with maximum warload

                                                                           ;DVote or Die ;D

LOL ;D
Anyway that's kind of the point
I want to Put the best planes together and create a poll on who would win
Like a Tornado and a MIG-25 Foxbat
or A tupolev Tu-160 and a Rockwell B-1B lancer ;)
Then they don't even necessarily need to be dogfights
(imagine a B-1B in a dogfight) they could be a straight comparison,e.g which a/c does its job best

A F-15 is flying over russian area on a patrol, suddenly a SU-27 appers!
Image
The pilot know he must fight or die!
the SU-27 fires a missile against him
The F-15 pilot shoots flares like crazy to get the missile of him
it missed......
know the F-15 pilot fires a sidewinder against the SU-27..
it miss also caused by the SU-27s cobra manoevre and flares.
Now both fighters are dead ahead...
they accelerate....
blood is pumping...
the F-15 pilot looks at hes right side.....

Image
A F-14!
The F-14 fires a sidewinder at the SU-27....

BUUUM!!
Direct hit, target destroyed!

Lets go home...

Excellent pics from the Russo-American war of 1889, Theis.  A bit hard to find though.

My money is always on the American plane.  To tell you the truth, I'm not quite up to date on current Russain equipment (I know more about Farmers, Fishbeds, etc.), but, hey, I mean, the other guy's American!

Then suddenly out of nowhere five Russian Mig 29's come by and blast the f-14 and F-15 out of the sky
they sadly weren't able to go home :P

the Fulcrum entered series production in 1982 at Moscow's Znamya Truda plant, which will be discussed in detail later. The first operational unit was designated in August 1983, at Kubinka Air Base, near Moscow, with deliveries to Frontal Aviation units commencing in 1984 when the State Acceptance Trials completed. Initial production, testing, and modifications continued until 1985, and by 1986 the first export deliveries were made. On 13Feb85, the first flight of the model 9-14 variant was flown by test pilot Toktar Aubakirov with an air-to-surface attack avionics suite suspended in a pod. This prototype led the way to further multi-role upgrades which were realized in the MiG-29M prototypes. The first MiG-29M (MiG-33) flew on 25Apr86.

Well, that story of Theis' proves that it takes two american fighters to defeat one Russian. Therefore the Su27 would win every time. ;D
