Well my sister has set up her own small business for our local area, she has designed some leaflets and she has put the email address at the top. Its a Yahoo! email address, and will putting this on a leaflet obide any copyright or terms and conditions do you think...just wondering, always one step ahead!

I can't imagine it causing any legal issues, it is after all an email address.
But I might suggest spending even just a few dollars to register a domain and use that. It'll give her business just a little more credibility.
I know when I see a business and it's an @aol or @yahoo email address, I kind of wonder how legitimate the business is.

Oh I know, but if the key to success is to not FEEL like a small business. Know what I mean?

Oh yeah fully understand, but there is plenty of cleaning businesses in the area and i feel that just a normal email address would add functionality.
She's been in the business for 2 years now, but its only just fully developed.
Thanks.

I've seen some places where you can get your own custom e-mail address @whatever domain you want.com for not a whole lot of money instead of actually buying a website domain

As andrew said there are Hotmail type email services that allow you to choose both parts of the address. That would be the way to go, although I see nothing wrong with an @yahoo.com.
