Warning there are Enterprise final spoilers in the link.

However i find it amazing how Berman can blame Enterprise and the star trek brands demise on the next generation saying it started slipping there. The guys got his head so far up his backside and cant accept he couldn't write a series on his own.

Some funny quotes for those avoiding spoilers
because it allowed Captain Archer to be seen as an immortal hero in the Star Trek universe.
Get a guy who can act the part properly then maybe but not gonna happen.(had to leave out first part to avoid spoiler.

Berman said that the writing staff has been careful to maintain continuity with the original series throughout Enterprise's run, noting that occasionally Star Trek canon is not internally consistent from series to series.
apparently not careful enough ::)

I think it needs to be said that UPN has changed a great deal over the last few years, it has become a network that is skewed in a totally different direction than Star Trek,
Or maybe they didnt want a space soap opera ::)

Braga noted that he was proud of the first two seasons of the show, which have been heavily criticised, and that he believes Star Trek began its slide during The Next Generation, long before Enterprise.
So star trek began sliding during its most popular and longest running series/movies? And DS9 and Voyager were given TV slots which were also semi popular because of what then?

These Are the Voyages..." will air on May 13th on UPN. For more, including the producers' belief that franchise fatigue hurt Nemesis as well as Enterprise,
Or maybe the crappy storylines could be attributed to that. Nemesis was an ok movie i'll give that one to Berman. But certainly nothing special.

Oh, this is about ST. I thought this was either about a German or about Beerman.  :P

I'm thinking the Rick Berman doesn't realize that Enterprise and Nemesis were the weakest links in the ST family in a vedry long time.

Well to be fair it was Braga who made the comment in that case but when you consider he is Bermans donkey, then you may aswell assume they have a simmilar opinion. They are just upset that their first true opportunity at having full control over star trek went belly up. Too bad they decided to turn it into a space soap opera.

You know, I've not even watched Enterprise this season. That time travel/alien Germans story at the beginning of the season just did it for me I think. And, if the Germans had over-run Europe how come the Americans had P-51Ds ??? Where did they get the idea (built for the British) and where did they get the Merlin engine of the correct spec ??? Do these folk ever read history? ;)
Seriously though, I though Enterprise really lost the plot last season with that running story and that temporal cold war rubbish. What they should have done was stick to TNG's episodic nature with a new story each week and maybe explore some of the known Trek history.
I'm kind of off Sci-Fi at the moment although I did enjoy Battlestar Galactica and I usually catch TNG on Sky every night. I can't seem to get into watching DS9 again though even though I did enjoy it when it was first on.
