So today I went to work as usual...not a bad day, kind of long after having 4 days off for the long weekend, but not too bad.

I'm just getting back outside to cut some grass after last break and I here a familiar sound! Radials!

Looking to the sky I caught a glimpse of 4 aircraft!

(1) Cessna 337 Skymaster! (Push me, pull me)
(1) AT-6 Texan (Yellow in color)
(2) unidentified, they looked like they may have been scaled down spits.. Pretty neat looking!

They then proceeded to make some large circles in tight formation and ended with a low level pass (little above the trees) right past my building! what a wonderful sight and sound! Almost shed a tear it's been so long since I heard a radial..

Unfortunately my camera battery was in need of a recharge last night, so the camera which I ordinarily carry with me, or leave in my truck 99% of the time, was sitting at home in it's dock charging...

BTW, a 337 goes over my house pretty low a few times a week and I have NO clue what it is...

Oh well - maybe next time! But to be sure it doesn't happen again - you'll have to have an extra medication to boost the common sense organs... as such behaviour is most unacceptable!

Ummmm.... well...  under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971 ectasy attracts penalties for possession of up to seven years imprisonment plus a fine.

Well, since it is one of those newfangled ones, I'd have to buy a special rechargeable battery, that costs 50+ USD. Not much to some, but to me it is quite a bit right now.

Now here's the rest of the story....

The four planes were here for a military flyby for one of our soldiers killed in Iraq.

Why they would send WWII planes instead of modern fighters such as the F-16 he was training on I don't know......

Oh well, I would much rather see old warbirds instead..

Where I live you hear jets and all sorts of ga props all day and no-one but me seems to look-but-send over the waterbombers(radials)everybodystops and looks.
