What to expect.
This year i will be attending, looks quite good, i couldn't go last year so this will be my first time there for an airshow. Any other members thinking of going?

My attendance will depend on the weather. My uncle will be going as part of his job offering a contest during the show. And my dad might be down that weekend. If he is i will be going rain or shine if its raining and he isn't here i wont be as i dont want to be standing around waiting for that contest to finish.

If you want a GREAT Airshow then this is the one for you. Been too this one several times , even Stevie Wonder would enjoy it. At last years show there were Two GR7 Harrier Jump Jets putting a joint display on together , it was worth going just to see these perform.
Get there if you possibly can.

gotta admit the main reason i am going is the eurofighter, i havent seen the thing in a display since its UK airshow debut a long while back at farnborough. Thanks for the info JR looking forward to it.

My local airshow....

Think im doing a FS9 Simulator display hopefully...
Otherwise im going on my own, fk am i gonne hand out career leaflets..

N' last year the typhoon display was s**t..... about 1 min... that was it... no spetacular stuff..


PS: it always rains at cosford.. has done for the last 5 years... (on and off)

its a full display this year from the typhoon. as for weather doesn't bother me last years yeovil airshow was a downpour and it still went ok.

Last year the Typhoon was still being operated under "Case White" under BAE Systems (although flown by RAF Aircrew).

This year however, the aircraft is operating as a fully released military aircraft operated by the RAF, so shall be the first full RAF display by the Typhoon...
