Fire department recues child from vending machine

Postby denishc » Sun May 22, 2005 2:09 pm

Just saw this one on Fox News......

In Elkhorn Indiana the local fire departmant had to rescue a tot who had become stuck in a toy vending machine outside the Walmart there.  The firemen expected to find the child's had stuck in the machine but were amazed to find the kid ALL THE WAY in the machine.

(I should let you know that the vending machine is one of these with a large clear plastic case that contains stuffed animals and dolls.  The machine has a mini crane and the idea is to pick up the toy with the crane and drop it in a slot to retrieve it.)

The kid's mom said he just went in the way the toys come out.  She even went back into Walmart and bought a disposable camera to take pictures of her child in the machine. But she became alarmed when she found out that Walmart did not have a key to open the machine to let her child out.

When the fire departman got there the child was having a good old time with all the toys!
