A380 - ugly or not??

Postby TSC. » Fri May 13, 2005 4:43 pm

I think I might be alone on this one - I just think that the A380 is one big fat ugly bird.

I know it's the 1st of a new concept & the engineering & design are fantastic, & it's a new era of air travel yadda yadda yadda..........................

But I still think she's ugly to look at.

What do the rest of you all think??

In my opinion the last good looking airliner was the Comet. 'Nuff said. ;D

I'm going with f'ugly, although maybe it will just take some time to get used to, I mean the thing is HUGE, and yet it is amazing how the interior has changed from it being like a hotel to just one huge and sophisticated aircraft, the A330 though will always be my favorite aircraft from Airbus

My famous quote:

"There is no such thing as an ugly aeroplane"

I don't think it is ugly but it is definitely not the best looking airliner ever created...

For me that title goes to the 757-200 W/Winglets (used to belong to the 737-700 W/Winglets) for me and once the 787 exists it will take the title...

As you can tell from my ownership of a sleek vehicle and my awarding of the "best looking airliner" title to sleek looking aircraft I just love sleek stuff with smooth lines 8)

That's right, I'm now using an AMD! I decided to give them another try and they

gets you from A to B who cares how it looks. Doesn't do anything special doesnt need to look special. Dont know why people bought into the Bars casinos restaurants and shops on board propeganda anyone with the slightest sense should know a plane this big is an airlines best chance to cram the sardines in as much as possible. Short of Richard Branson i doubt too many will even do anything at all with it but seats.
