Congratulations Craig ;)

Just to let you know I paid more for my first new car than I did for my first home back in the 50s ;D

I kept my first new Land Rover and still use it on the airfield, it is still licenced and is a 1963 Model 88.
Best vehicle I have ever owned.
I have a new Land Rover and it is only half the vehicle the Model 88 was.
The old girl has her own wheels and we trade every two years.

Over here in the Colony driving is still considered a privilege and not a right.

Not sure what you are planning to purchase but take your time, look around and test drive it.

Having a drivers licence now will open new horizons for you...enjoy and have fun ;)

Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug

That's exactly the car I intend to buy when I pass my test. ;D

Nice job Craig. In a little less than a year I'll be starting driving lessons.

I was just wondering, in the U.K., do you have to be 16 to get your license like in the US?

Good stuff Craig, congratulations!!! It feels great dosen't it. But just remember to take everybody else's advice, you passed the test today, now is when you start learning to drive.

I'm not knocking you down, passing the test is a fantastic achievement, but just be careful out on the open road - always assume that everybody else on the road hasn't got a clue where they're going or what they're doing & you'll be suprised how often your right!!

Congrats
