I hope this doesn't get locked, it's just a view on peoples opinions.

These are, quite simply, the most pointless things I've ever seen.  Yeah, it was quite convincing.  So are some people's arguments that a missile hit the Pentagon-the US fired a missile it at itself, killed every member of the flight that crashed into the Pentagon, inserted their bodies and flaming wreckage of a 753 into the Pentagon, and voila.  It's a conspiracy story!

My a$$. ::)

I've heard many of the arguments in favor of a conspiracy... their arguments are not excellent. At risk of sounding like i'm copping out, I have to say that without getting into it, the "evidence" is weak.
And consider the fact that about half a million people were involved in the project. How would they all be kept quiet? None of them suddenly had a nicer house or car, and none of them vanished or met some unfortunate end.

Look at it this way Rob, if Guy Fawkes had succeeded then James I and Parliament would have been the first person and building on the moon ;D

er - apart from Virgil 'gus' Grissom, who died trapped in a burning capsule (with 2 other astronauts) mere weeks after speaking out publicly about the inability of the space program. In fact, before the first manned Apollo flight even cleared the launch pad, a total of 11 would be astronauts were dead. Apart from the three who were incinerated, seven died in plane crashes and one in a car smash. Now this is a spectacular accident rate.

If you see any of the old videos from the moon landings, look at the dust and the objects the astronauts are using and even the astronauts themselves.  The moon's 1/6th Earth gravity causes the astronauts, their tools, even all the little dust particles to travel in nice large parabolic paths that would be larger than the ones in earth gravity.  It would have been quite a task for them to attach strings or something to each piece of dust and have them all travel in uniform, equal paths even when compared to each other.  :P ::)

I don't personally subscribe to the school that teaches the event was a hoax, but I'll admit, the evidence was quite interesting.  You'd just have to have way to many people cover it up.  And something like that could never be done.

I watched a programme about this once. All these weirdo's living in their trailers in the deep south putting up the most pathetic evidence to that it never happened before the programme just smashed all the arguments to pieces.

I remember one of the arguments for it being forged was that the american flag on the moon was lit from both sides. And surely, if it was on the moon half of it would have been in shadow because of there being only one light source.

Evidently none of these people had ever put a flag up to the light and realised that it was made of cloth and that light can go through it...

:P :P

Seen it and I don't know what to think, some of the "evidence" can't be explained fo example how there can be two shots of the same hill where one has the lander on it and the other dosn't.... (how could the shot be taken before they landed?)
The arguments on the waving flag however... maybey I'm wrong here but didn't it have a spring installed so that it would apear to fly in a breeze?

Does anyone know if there has been a return trip to the Moon to collect the photographer who took the film of the moon lander taking off, for the return trip back to earth....?

I bet he's getting really hungry by now...  ::)...!

There are ways to automate cameras. Even back in the 60s.

As many of you know, I have done extensive personal research about manned space flight and the Apollo program is one that interests me the most.  There is no doubt what so ever in my mind that we landed on the moon.  There are good arguements why every piece of "evidence" these shows have is incorrect/based in bad information.

There are many websites that can explain these "hoax claims" and why they are false in better detail than I can.  I think this is the easiest to navigate:
http://www.badastronomy.com/bad/tv/foxapollo.html

There are a couple other sites than I know of that have the same kind of info-but this one specifically addresses the hoax TV show.  If you guys want more links I can find them.   ;)
