I just paid $2.19 (1.22 lbs) for gas and I am pretty upset about it. This is ridiculous and there is no excuse for it except for greed. I'm curious about how much everyone else, especially in other countries, are paying.
So how much and where?

It's close to 90 cents a liter here but over a dollar in some places around Toronto. I know the US is averaging about 70 cents a liter once you work it out. We have very high gasoline taxes here. That's why it's so expensive. I hear it's even higher in Europe.
The oil company's are in full swing for summer. Expect high prices going into weekends. Our prices are very high this weekend because it's a holiday weekend here.

Right now it's $2.39 for regular (87 octane). The price for 92 octane premium (which one of my cars needs) is $2.59.

Last Thursday I was in Ft. Liquordale (KFLL) - always the cheapest gas in Florida - $1.97/gal.
What pi**es me off is that I thought this was reasonable.

$2.15 for the cheap stuff 'round the corner, but it's still cheaper than a gallon of milk. Factor in the processing required to turn crude oil into gasoline, and it's a pretty sweet deal.

I paid 81p per Ltr for unleaded this morning, that's a couple of pence more than the price that sparked the fuel protest back in 2000. Less than a year ago the cheapest station in my area was charging 74p.

We pay about 70p a litre, but wages are about 1/12th of what they are in Britain!!! Guess what, people here aren't happy. I nip down to Croatia and buy it for about 25p a litre, oh and pick up some of their lovely Osijecko beer
