Brain stuff

My sister is going to college to be an RN, and one of her current papers is something to do with the brain and such. She's had our family take a test about Empathy and Systemising. She needs some outside sources though, so I offered to post the link on here and some other places and see if some people would take the tests.

The tests are anonymous, 60 questions each, in the format of 1 to 5 agree/disagree. If you don't mind, please take each test and then reply back with your scores in this format:

EQ:xx
SQ:xx
Please include your gender too.

Here's the tests:

Thanks a lot!!!

Some of it is a bit...shaky. Because I take design technology in school, I analyse the design and construction of things actively, but thats because its helps when it comes to the school subject. Also, the bank statement stuff doesn't apply to me.

It's not nice that you're talking about people with autism and asperger that way. They're only humans,too.

EQ = 24
(Low ability; Asperger & Autism category)
SQ=29
(Average)

The asperger and autism thing puzzles me. My eight year old brother is an autist and since I have, accoding to test, a tendency towards autism, too, I wonder if this,well, "defect" is heritable. But that would mean that other people inside my family have those tendencies,too.
Strange. Or am I just a "victim" of  education and my surroundings? Hmmm...

EQ-41 - average
SQ-48 - above average  8)

That was interesting. I liked it it much better than the IQ test I took a few years ago, wich was very biased.

For those of you who don't know what Asbergers is it's a high functioning form of autism.

Autistics find socialising awkward and in some extreme cases traumatising, as they can not read other peoples emotions or feelings and therefore respond inappropriately.
Autistics tend to obcess over certain things  videos ... numbers .... music ...  words  are some of the better obcessions. However some obcessions can be deemed inappropriate in normal social circles.
My step son obcesses over videos and books ... he walks around quoting passages and acting out bits from both media.
Other autistic traits ..... repetitive/obcessive ticks, babbling ,poor sleep patterns and many more.

As I said Asbergers is a high functioning form of autism and people with the condition may be seen as slightly strange as they may be able to tell you the name of every star system in the night sky ... but won't look you in the eye when they do it.

Some peeps thought to be high functioning asbergers. Einstein...... Gallileo... Leonardo Da Vinci.

Well explained, Eno. Fortunately, my brother is just a "slight"  autist, so he's able to socialise at least a little bit.
