Restricted Life

I can't believe this. My laptop, which contains my life's work on the car models, is unable to connect to the internet. As a result, I fear that my access to the internet would be forever limited to Public Computers [in which they have placed further restrictions on].

I can't download, I can't upload, and the only thing I can do with these public pc's is just chit chat.

Can anyone offer some tips or advice on how to get my laptop to access the internet? I rely on a wireless connection using my laptop's built-in wireless access card.

I ran a diagnostics test using the already-installed utility and it shows that the memory test has failed.

If all fails, I might be forced to use the oldest and most unpopular method of internet connection of all time: 56K Dail-Up.

Guys, help me here. I wanna stop using these public pc's and start connecting with my laptop.

*Katahu gets down on his knees*

Don't make me beg. ::) :P

Don't forget about the Porsche Beta version. It's still posted in SimViation. You can try it if you like.

I'm gonna go over my wireless connection and see if I can find any areas where this could happen. Have you checked your firewall and your router/modem? Also wireless on your laptop is switched on?
