Reminds me of my fathers big adventure... woke up in the middle of the night by an alarm at his workplace. Now as a director he must go over there to check things out. My mother didn't trust it, so she asked him to call the cops. They pull over at the building, full armour and automatic rifles, just to find out the alarm was set of by a big plant that tipped over in my fathers buro! Luckely the cops had a good sense of humour about it!

The security alarms at my old school was set off by a moth once.

Our alarms at work went off so regularly at one time the police refused to come out any more. The boss told me he was scared stiff every time he was called out as he never knew what he might find. I would have been too & glad I was never on the roster. Fortunately they were all false alarms & the security company reckoned this was usually caused by spiders. I reckon they were telling stories to cover up their defective equipment.
