I don't know if its me or perhaps im not behaving as a 40 years old man. should Im in wrong behaivour?Am i Dislocate in time?,
guys like me should be talking about the Eagles songs or the disco times 80's Grease,Saturday night fever, the good this of old times(most of my friend does),instead I like more the new music or movies Generations, maybe thats one of the reason I can't find a new girlfriend, last time when i got married i could talk to my ex:about Withney Houston in the Bodyguard,or MC Hammer -can't touch this,or B.H,90210
but now when i find someone near my age(a Lady) and i made a comment like Hey did you see or hear spiderman 2? or Talking lives?,System of a Down,Joss Stone,I feel rejected, even someone said "hey you have a chiken mind"(another lady)that hit me like a Knife....I rather this new age and only the mirrow shows me how fast im getting old,but thru the windows of my eyes i feel like a boy......Welcome bad comment and good comments.....

I still cannot believe I'm over 40. Where the hell did my life go? Seems like a coupla weeks ago I was graduating high school.
As for alienating the ladies, I think you're just having bad luck, hooking up with some stone beeyotches. "Chicken mind"?! That's vicious!

I once heard a great saying someplace..
"If you did not know when you were born, would you know how old you are?"
If that were true, I would guess I was around 25!
Live your life the way you want. I will turn 37 this Sunday. I have a house, married and two kids and I still am able to rock with the best of them, party till the sun comes up with my 28 year old sister, listen to Metallica and then a bit of Country! I can watch a movie like "The Notebook" and shed a tear, then I can watch a movie like saw and think how totally cool that was! I can be a responsible father to my two Little girls then play in the Simulator like a Little boy! I love my Wife yet I will turn my head and drool with my friends when a beautiful girl walks by!
My wife turned 40 last June! People still think she is in her early 30's! Alrot, Your age is all in your head! If somebody does not love you for who you are, then it is not meant to be!
Be yourself because if you are fake, you will live an unhappy life!

You should print that out & hang it on the wall. If a man ever grows up it's a sign his life is over. My brain still thinks I'm about 17 years old. Pity my body knows the truth.

System of a Down....great music taste there, ALROT.

You remind me of my mom. She's in the mid-fourties but still likes to party.

It is funny, when I was a teenager if somebody said that their parents were in their 30's, I thought that was old. Now here I am in my 30's and I am still a teenager! :P

Well, after 30+ years of various injuries, some combat related and some civilian related. My 50-ish body feels like 100-ish. If your as old as you feel, I'm in serious trouble, I think I missed my funeral.....

Ain't that some crap, didn't even get an invite to it and apparently I missed it.....

Hmmm, wonder if anyone showed up?

Sometimes I feel older than 14, other times I feel even younger. That may sound strange, but it's true...

I guess part of my feeling older than 14 is because I come on here so much with virtualy everyone older than me. And than I feel younger than 14 because I still like doing things with my parents, when all my peers might laugh. I still would choose to go to the R/C Plane flying field with my dad over hanging out with my 14 year old friends any day.

Ben, I think you are absolutely doing the right thing. I wish I spend that much time with my parents at your age. I am 35 now, my mother died a long time ago and I am still sorry I didn't spend enough time with her. But although I am 35, married and no kids (yet) I still feel like I am a boy. I like to play games, listen to the music I loved back then (Metallica still rules). How old you feel is all in your head.
