That is just amazing :)
I wish him the best of luck with his venture, he's got more drive than I've seen in most 18 year olds 8)

It would be interesting to know which types of aircraft he intends operating. He's just been on the radio & said it's an 8-seater commuter type. The 18 minute air journey is one thing but as with all air travel you have to take travelling times at each end into account. Assuming the service will be operated between Oxford & Cambridge airports this could add a considerable time to the trip & obviously cost extra. For example, this is quoted on the Oxford Airport website. [quote]Getting here From Oxford City Bus Station

By Bus - Gloucester Green Bus Terminal is situated in the heart of Oxford City. You will need to walk out of the main entrance on to George Street. Turn left and there is a bus stop 1 minutes walk up the road. From this bus stop you can catch the 'Oxford Bus Company' service 2A, 2B or 2C. These services will take you directly to Oxford Airport. The journey will take approximately 30 - 40 minutes and a single ticket will cost you

Well I was a bit surprised myself - but there are plenty of wealthy people in Oxford. PLenty. Mind you nobody likes to chuck away money no matter how much they have of it. ::)

I actually wondered what Pete would think of a VA on here.
He probably would chuck it away - but it would be a great success if we had one as Simviation is just so big. ::)

Good for him. Granny must've left him an awful lot of money. He'll probably lose it all, but I'm sure she'd be proud he decided to do something useful with it.
