Aircraft Problem ahhhhhhhhh

An aircraft moves along a straight horizontal runway with contant acceration. It passes a point A on the runway with speed 16ms-1. It then passes the point B on the runway with a speed 34ms-1 . The distance from A to B is 150m

(a) Find the acceration of the aircraft.

(b) Find the time taken by the aircraft in moving from A to B.

(c) Find, to 3 significant figures, the speed of the aircraft when it passes the point mid-way between A and B.

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If we do your homework for you, you'll never learn.
Then you'll be royally screwed come test time.

Your best bet would be to get of your computer, and start crunching numbers.

May I suggest pulling up an excel spreadsheet to input numbers into?

that's what I always did when working with physics questions..:-)

What do you mean by "the distance from A to B"?
Is that part of the problem, or an answer you're looking for? If it's the former, it'd help to provide thenumber for the distance... if it's the latter, then this problem just got a whole lot harder!!
 You want the time and the distance and the speed at the midway point, and rate of acceleration? Gotta have the number for at least one of those first, don't you?   ???

From my extremely poor grasp of maths you should be able to work out the distance between A and B from the acceleration.
It's doing 16ms-1 at A....... and accelerating to 34ms-1 at B... assuming the acceleration is constant then you should be able to get the distance and therefore the rest of the figures.

Don't ask me how to do it .....I'm just thinking lateraly.

I believe the speed was left out when it shouldnt have been. That or this is a pretty tough one to work out.
